Rx Spanish Language for Today's Pharmacy

Program Overview: This multi-part program, consisting of six 1-hour courses, will cover the basics of the Spanish language and provide some specific pharmaceutical terminology including body parts, symptoms, conditions, drugs, allergies, SIGS, and insurance information. Requirements for Credit: Healthcare professionals are responsible for ensuring the continuing education programs they take meet the requirements for professional licensure as mandated by their state boards. Please read the course and accreditation information thoroughly to determine if the course you have selected has the appropriate accreditation statement, provider information and contact hours required for your licensure. Once you access the test portion of the program please be prepared to complete it in one sitting. In order to receive credit, participants must review the entire slide or video presentation with audio or text, complete and submit an evaluation and score at least 70% on the self-assessment test. A statement of credit will be issued only upon receipt of a successfully completed post-test and evaluation form.

Nursing:
AKH Inc. is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education in by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. This educational activity is designated for 7.2 contact hours (0.72 CEUs). This program is no longer valid for credit after September 15, 2007.

Pharmacy:
AKH Inc. is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This program consists of six [6] modules and provides up to 6 contact hours (0.6 CEUs) of continuing pharmacy education credit. This program is no longer valid for credit after September 15, 2007.
